Honeydew Fire Helibase Support
September 20, 2003
Starting September 18th, Ferndale VFD has been providing fire and rescue support for the helibase for the Honeydew and Canoe fires. Rotating three person crews have been manning Engine #3. The toughest part is enduring the 90 to 100 degree temps while wearing full turnouts. If other firefighters have pictures from their duty, please provide them to Matt and he will post them here also.
