7/4/2022 – 4th of July Rides & 125th Anniversary Open House

On a rainy morning, FVFD resumed our great tradition of offering kids and kids at heart rides on some of our current and antique apparatus. 2022 marked the department’s 125th anniversary and to celebrate we had an open house after the parade with most of our antique apparatus on display in the annex. A BBQ lunch was served just as the rain really started. A souvenir booklet of our history written by Matt Knowles and was available for a $10 donation.
